जिला कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष और जनपद उपाध्यक्ष राकेश ठाकुर ने आरोप लगाया है कि रूपेश पांडे ने 24 सितंबर की शाम एक व्हाट्सऐप ग्रुप में ‘मोहनदास करमचंद गांधी का दोगलापन’ नामक एक विवादित पोस्ट शेयर की। इस पोस्ट में महात्मा गांधी के खिलाफ आपत्तिजनक शब्दों और वीडियो का प्रयोग किया गया है।
